Accra, Ghana — 14 February 2025 – FactSpace West Africa (FSWA) reinforced its commitment to education and community development by volunteering at the SS Shardow Community Centre, located in Accra.

Ismail Akwei, the Director of the SS Shardow Community Centre, expressed profound gratitude for FSWA’s involvement, emphasizing the significance of the initiative.

“This marks the first time an organization has extended direct support to our ongoing projects. The impact of this engagement, especially on a day like this, is truly meaningful. We look forward to future collaborations and continued support,” he stated.

Akwei also highlighted the centre’s ongoing need for structured external support, as it operates six days a week with limited resources.

Alfa Shaban, editor at FactSpace West Africa, lauded the dedication and teamwork exhibited by the volunteers.

“The work accomplished here today is commendable, yet it also highlights the urgent need for expanded facilities to maximize impact. This should not be a one-time effort—we must explore sustained engagement to provide continuous support for these young learners,” he said.

He called on individuals, organizations, and other stakeholders to contribute to the development of the Centre by providing educational resources, infrastructure support, and mentorship opportunities to help children thrive academically and socially.

FactSpace West Africa remains committed to fostering education, empowering young minds, and making a tangible difference in the communities it serves.
