The West African Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP) has entered into a teaming partnership with GhanaFact to enhance online credibility and integrity of the presidential and parliamentary elections in Ghana.

This will form part of WANEP’s- “Electoral Violence Monitoring, Analysis and Mitigation (EMAM) project,” that will contribute to the mitigation of electoral violence during the December 7 polls.

The democracy and governance program will culminate in the establishment and operations of an Election Situation Room (ESR) with a dispute resolution and management architecture that tracks incidents, provides analysis and guarantee preventive diplomacy with key political actors to mitigate identified threats that could mar the peaceful conduct of the elections.
